About SaddleCreek Plantation

Horse boarding Thomasville Saddle

From the 1950's, the Butler Pony Farm hosted a generation of Thomasville children who grew up riding on the old turpentine plantation. Fifty years later, the Vann family invested their heart and souls into renewing the plantation as a peaceful little farm for wildlife and equestrian pursuits. Today, SaddleCreek provides access to 1,100 acres of beautiful riding trails saddling the Ochlocknee River, conveniently located just five miles north of Thomasville, GA.

"SaddleCreek is such a special place... our trails reflect the diverse environment of the Red Hills Region. With roads winding through wiregrass pines and palmetto forest, to trails meandering alongside beautiful creeks and river bottoms, it's very easy to see a vast majority of the wildlife this area has to offer. Members often see bobwhite quail, grey fox, wild turkey, white-tail deer, fox squirrels, and many more animals while riding.  Our hope at SaddleCreek is to provide you with a peaceful and safe equine facility that offers you the beauty and tranquility of the Red Hills Region. Whether you are renting with us, joining us for a trail ride or just visiting with a friend, we invite you to be part of the SaddleCreek family."
